Blackstone, MassachusettsEileen M. Roy, 56, of Summer Street, died Monday, August 29, 2016, at Cortland Place, Greenville, Rhode Island. She was the former wife of Daniel Roy. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of Thomas N. McQuade and the late Pauline M. (Daigle) McQuade.Eileen was a seamstress, and the owner a company called Stitch!In addition to her father and former husband, she leaves a son, Ian D. Roy; a daughter, Kate E. Black; two brothers, Timothy N. McQuade and John J. McQuade; three sisters, Maureen A. Brushett, Christine M. Berthelette and Karen M. Dumais; and a granddaughter, Gwendolyn Black. Visiting hours will be held Friday evening, from 5-7 pm in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, to which relatives and friends are invited. The funeral and burial will be private.
