Elaine F. Hudson

Hudson, Elaine F. (Ellis), 60, of Narragansett Avenue and formerly of Fairfield Road, Cranston, died Friday at home after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was the wife of the late Charles T. Hudson.Born in Providence, a daughter of Florence (Brown) Ellis, of Johnston and the late David Ellis.Elaine was a former Director of the V.I.C.S. Program in Cranston and remained active for many years in the Cranston School System. She was the beloved mother of Jason C. Hudson and Jessica L. Hudson, beloved sister of David Ellis, James Ellis and his wife Janice, Rebecca Beaubien and her husband David, beloved sister-in-law of Eleanor Wedge and Kathleen Moore. She was the adoring grandmother of Enrique Martinez and Layla Hudson. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am in the Phillips Memorial Baptist Church, 565 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 pm in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St, Providence.
