Elizabeth "Libby" Bonenfant

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Verne and Irene Perkins and had been the wife of the late Leo Bonenfant.

She was the mother of Irene Horan and her husband Dennis of North Waterboro, Maine; Verne Bonenfant of Providence, RI; and Ronald Bonenfant of West Warwick, RI; grandmother of Lisa Jalbert and her husband Paul of North Waterboro, Maine; and Kerry Bumpus and his wife Kathleen of Tewksbury, Massachusetts; great-grandmother of Ethan and Connor Jalbert, Patrick and Michaela Elizabeth Bumpus, and Alexa and Taylor Krogstie.

Mrs. Bonenfant was an avid bible reader and bingo player. She enjoyed embroidery, baking, playing cards and Yahtzee, word puzzle books, and especially spending time with her family.

She was, also, a standing member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and The DaVinci Center, both of Providence, RI.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a burial in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elizabeth’s name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 114 Perimeter Road, Nashua, NH 03063.
