Elizabeth J. (Wilcox) Cummings-Williams, 91, passed away April 26, 2015. She was the wife of the late Donald H. Cummings and Frederick Williams. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Perry and Willena (MacIntosh) Wilcox.
She was the devoted mother of Dr. Stephen F., William H., and Gary L. Cummings, Linda R. Cummings-Laxton and Donna L. Gallant; loving Mimi of Kurt and Michelle Gallant, David and Tracey Ingle, Christina Riel, Amy Bragger, Sandra, Jessica, Jennifer, Michael, Katherine and Ellen Cummings; great-grandmother of 13 and great-great-grandmother of 2. She was the mother of the late Robert L. Cummings and sister of the late Perry, Arthur and Calvin Wilcox and Anabel Owens.
Visitation will be held Thursday 4-7 p.m. Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. with a service at 10:00 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meeting Street School, 1000 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02905.
