Elizabeth L. (Norberg) Duffy, of The Villages, FL formerly of Johnston, RI passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017. She was born in Portland, ME on February 6, 1933 the daughter of Frederick and Ellen Shaw. She was the wife of the late Michael A. Duffy. She is survived by two daughters, Susan D. Norberg Coco of Dallas, TX and Merlene M. Norberg Semper and her husband Edwin, of Johnston, R.I.; 5 grandchildren including Kimberlee Ouimette of Warwick, Jennifer Galligan Miano of Texas ; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jillian Norberg Nelson of Wyoming and her sister, Delores W. Cawthon of Norway, ME. She was an active Jehovah’s Witness. Visiting hours will be Wednesday evening, March 8, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 1 pm. Burial will be private at Highland Memorial Park in Johnston.
