Liz was a wonderful person. Her daughter and my daughter attended nursery school together and would sometimes have playdates in the afternoon. Even though our daughters later on attended different schools in Norwalk I would often run into Liz at Stew's and we would always catch up on what the girls were doing even into their adulthood. I knew that Liz had many health issues but she was always so upbeat and caring about others. I used to work at city hall and I would pass by the tree and plaque near the front entrance in memory of her husband and I would always think of her. I am sure many others join me in mourning her loss.

Liz was a neighbor and friend that through all of her struggles to stay well and to fight for the next day she always did so with a smile on her face and with the determination to have tomorrow. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. She loved Chilmark Chocolates and often when we came back to Norwalk from the Vineyard we would bring her a box of treats. That got us a double smile. Rebecca & family
My heart is with you as you remember your mother. She & your father were an inspiration to me and my family; always bringing people together to enjoy each other. I remember softball games, picnics at the beach and holiday parties with a platter of Liz's delicious cookies.
Please know that her legacy will live on with all the people in Norwalk that she touched.
Love from all of us at the City of Norwalk Planning & Zoning office.
