Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Rose (Tutalo) Scialo.
Elvira worked for Monet Jewelers for many years before retiring in 1982. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Nickerson House and her daily walks to Venda Ravioli for coffee.
She was the mother of Frances Coppola of North Providence, grandmother of Michael Coppola and sister of John and Josephine Scialo and the late Albert, Salvatore and Vincent Scialo and Mary Kingston.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 64 Brayton Avenue, Providence.
