Born Houston, Texas she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Katherine (Monroe) Krahn and sister of the late James Krahn.
Jean graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She began her career as an international flight attendant first working for Pan American Airlines for 25 years and then Delta Airlines for over 30 years. Jean and her husband Michael travelled the world many times by air and sea, going on adventures to places near and far.
In addition to her husband, survivors include: two daughters, Carrie Gordon of Washington and Lindsay Smyth and her husband Peter of Virginia and two grandchildren, Kelin and Owen Smyth.
Burial will take place with family on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 10:00 am in Lincoln Park Cemetery, 1469 Post Road, Warwick, Rhode Island.
