Florence M. Jones

Warwick Florence M. Jones, 91, of Hardig Road, died Saturday at Kent County Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Herbert L. Jones, Jr. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Patrick J. and Katherine E. (Ginnerty) Monahan, she lived in Warwick most of her life. Mrs. Jones was a communicant of Saint Gregory the Great Church for many years. She was a member of the Rhode Island League of Women Voters, the Warwick Senior Drama Club, Sparrow Point III Tenants Association and the tennants Arts & Crafts Club. She also participated in R.S.V.P. in the Warwick community for over twenty-five years. She leaves two daughters, Kathleen A. Gregson, and her husband David, and Sharon L. Jones; a son, Clifford O. Jones, and his wife Judith; a sister, Grace M. Fallon; ten loving grandchildren and eleven loving great-grandchildren. She was a sister of the late James P. Monahan, Owen T. Monahan, Rose Gautieri and Margaret Andreozzi. The funeral will be held Wednesday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Warwick. Visiting hours Tuesday, 4 - 7 pm.
