Francesco Capaldi

Born in Vallerotonda, Italy, Francesco came to the United States in 1967 and has resided in North Providence for the past 13 years.

Mr. Capaldi had worked for Ronzio Jewelry Manufacturing before retiring in 1977. He had also served in the Italian military during the years of 1939-1945.

He was the father of Mario Capaldi and his wife Maria, Livia Del Signore and her husband Vincenzo, the late Elena Capaldi and her husband Venizio; grandfather of Anthony Del Signore, Gianni Del Signore and his wife Sara, and Marco Capaldi, Franco Capaldi and his wife Irene, Laura Della Torre and her husband Thomas; great-grandfather of Emma and Annina Capaldi.

Visitation will be held Thursday, 5-8 p.m. with a funeral on Friday at 8:15 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:15 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, with burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
