

Francis E. Corrigan Jr., age 88, passed away February 4, 2022. Born in Attleboro, he spent most of his life in Pawtucket until 2003 when he moved to North Providence. He was a son of the late Francis E. Corrigan Sr. and Blanche (Desrosier); beloved husband of the late Jacqueline (Gregoire) Corrigan; loving father of late Paul Corrigan and his late wife Michelle, he is survived by Peter Corrigan and his wife Amy, Leo Corrigan and his wife Colleen, Louise Corrigan and her husband Shawn McGowan; brother of William Corrigan and the late Raymond Corrigan, Donald Corrigan, Robert Corrigan, and Eleanor Hayes; cherished grandfather of Shawn, Ashley, Meghan, Travis, Taylor, Kyle, Courtney, Olivia, and Hanna; and great-grandfather of, Mason, Alexander and Madison.
Francis graduated from the R.I. School for the Deaf, in Providence. He worked for many years at King Philip Reel, in Pawtucket until he retired. He was actively involved in several organizations in the Deaf community - The RI Deaf Senior Citizens, RI Deaf Club, New England Athletic Association of the Deaf – Hall of Fame. Francis was inducted into the Hall of Fame for Basketball. He was also an avid golfer.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 10:30 in the Redwood Chapel in Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence followed by a private inurnment in Swan Point Cemetery.
