Frank A. Altobello, age 80, passed away peacefully beside his family on Thursday, June 15. Frank was born in Providence on September 19, 1942, to the late Angelo and Sylvia (Zoglio) Altobello. He was the beloved husband of Lucia (Ciccone) Altobello, a loving father to his daughter Susan Sheridan and son-in-law Donald Sheridan, and cherished grandfather of Courtney and Jessica Sheridan.
Many know Frank from his two businesses, Classic Deli and Frank’s Sandwich Shop. Prior to that, he was a Meat Cutter at Star Market. Frank enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, especially to Laconia on Father’s Day Weekend.
His greatest joy was spending time with his two granddaughters. Known to them as Papa, he never missed the girl’s softball games, even practices. Not a night passed that he didn’t text his girls' goodnight and I love you.
Frank’s services will be held privately.
