Frank Pontarelli, Jr., 71 of Log Road, Smithfield, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016at Hebert Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Corine L.(Richardson) Pontarelli.Born in Providence, he was the son of Gertrude F. (Brearley)Pontarelli and the late Frank P. Pontarelli. Sr. Frank was a supervisor for the Hudson Liquid Asphalt Company in Providence. He served honorably in the RI National Guard for 6 years.He is survived by his daughter, Amy L Barrett and her husband Chris of Johnston; a brother, Alvin T. Pontarelli of Johnston 2 sisters; Jean Werner of New Jersey and Karen L.
