Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ida (Castrignano) Silva.
He was a retired produce manager. He loved spending time with his grandkids and watching old movies.
He was the beloved father of Sarah Silva, Antonio Vitiello, Corie Meehan and the late Anna S. Vitiello and grandfather of Dontasga, Curtis, Curtijhae and Kyleak. He was also the brother of John A. Silva, Donna Silva, Angela Carbone, Linda Simmons and the late Joseph Silva, Jr., Ralph Silva, Emma Silva and Maryann Ferrante.
