Frederick A. Rossi Sr.

Born in Providence on September 19, 1940, he was the son of the late Mario and Thelma (Pellegrino) Rossi.

Fred was the father of Mario Rossi and his wife Donna, Richard Rossi and his wife Joanne, and Michael Rossi. He was the beloved grandfather of Keri Rossi-D’entremont and her husband Paul, Kristen Cipriano, Derek Rossi, and Danielle Fitzgerald. He also leaves his cherished great-grandchildren Nathan, Scarlett, Aiden, Michael and Gabriel. He was also the brother of the late Robert Rossi and Louis Rossi and father of late Frederick Anthony Rossi. Jr.

Fred was a proud member of Teamsters Local 251 Union. Known as a hard worker, he drove trucks for Tilcon Capaldi for many years. In retirement he always kept very busy with handyman and mechanic projects. He enjoyed fishing, boating, chatting with friends, Italian cuisine and spending time with his family.

Visitation with funeral will be held Friday from 9 - 10:00 AM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:00 AM.
