WarwickGeorge A. Swider, 66, of West Shore Road, died Tuesday at home. He was the husband of the late Gail (Brewster) Swider. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Michael and Stacia (Soja) Swider. George was a Dining Hall Supervisor at the Pilgrim Senior Center for the past several years. He leaves a daughter; Sharon Mirek of New Haven, Indiana, six brothers; Walter Swider of Providence, Frank Swider of California, Harold Swider of Johnston, Edward Swider of Florida, Alan Swider of Pennsylvania, Leo Swider of Smithfield, four sisters; Shirley Medeiros of Warwick, Stacia DiLello and Carol Samos, both of Hope Valley, Judy Gagnon of Cranston, and three grandchildren; Sabrina Beard, Vanessa Beard, and David Beard. He was a brother of the late William Swider, Michael Swider, and Donald Swider. The funeral will be private.
