I will miss Jerry. I met him as a young, anxious sixteen year old girl ,when my father George took me karaoke for the first time at Crickets. I had just started singing publicly and Jerry was alway patient, kind and encouraging to me as I learned how to become the performer I am today.
I work as a vocalist professionally now and I owe my business and success to Jerry as he was one of the firsts to tell me he loved to hear me sing “At Last”.
I wanted his family to know how much affect he had on so many aspiring singers.

I'm very sorry for the loss to family and friends. I played in a few bands with Jerry for several years. He had a great sense of humor and was an excellent musician. He taught me about having fun on stage. So many times he would have me in stitches. He taught me a lot about music without giving me a single lesson It all happened on stage. He would add all these passing chords and substitutions into the structure of a song, I would go home later and figure them out. He will be sorely missed and not forgotten.
