Gerard A. Hazard, 21, of Providence, passed away suddenly on June 8, 2014. Born in Providence, he was a son of Anthony Hill and Joanna Hazard. He leaves six sisters, seven brothers, and many nieces and nephews. Gerard loved to sing and dance and brought smiles to everyone's face. He could light up the room with his smile. He was a 2013 graduate of Birch Vocational School. He was a Special Olympian, and loved to fish with his dad. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 9 to 11 am, with a funeral service to begin at 11 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
