Helen Angell, 88, of Providence, died peacefully at her daughter's home, surrounded by her loving family on May 29, 2012.. Born in Providence Rhode Island, a daughter of the late Vincent and Anna Bankauskas. She was predeceased by her siblings, John Bankas, Edward Bankas, Mary Wasilewski and Josephine Cantwell. Helen was a supervisor in the Bankcard Dept. for Citizens Banks for many years. After her retirement, Helen was a caretaker for her loving husband Harold before his passing. She loved reading, knitting and especially her quilting. She leaves two sons, Harold Angell, William Angell and his wife Dorothy; three daughters, Susan Eley and her husband Chad, Kathy Loftus and her husband Joseph, Deborah Banspach and her husband Richard. She was the lovng grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A private funeral was held on Friday.Burial was in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Lung Association, 260 West Exchange Street, Suite 102B, Providence, RI 02903, in Helen's memory would be deeply appreciated.
