Providence: Brennan, Helen M. (Flanagan), 93, of Aurora Street passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at her home. She was the wife of the late James J. Brennan, Sr.Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Matthew J. and Margaret C. (Costello) Flanagan.Helen worked as a telephone operator for New England Telephone for 25 years, retiring in 1983.She is survived by her 4 children, James J. Brennan, Jr., Donald F. Brennan, Barbara A. Brennan and Linda J. Maloney; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 4great great grandchildren.Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 8:30 am - 10:30 am at the Russell J.
