Born in Rochester, New York, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Florence (Terry) Leonard.
Helen was an Inspector for Gorham Manufacturing for many years before retiring.
She was the mother of Kenneth P. Kary, Nancy Brown and the late Shirley McGuire; grandmother of Kristen Andrade, Bryan McGuire, Matthew McGuire, Lori Beagan and Christopher Brown and the great grandmother of Ryan McGuire, Colin McGuire, Lily Brown, Brayden Brown, Aubrey McGuire and Jefferson McGuire.
Her funeral and burial at the R.I. Veteran Cemetery was private.
