Helen Pisano

Helen A. Pisano, of Smith Street, formerly of Kentland Avenue, Providence, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, April 19, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, in Providence.She was the daughter for the late Joseph and Carmela (Ferrazza) PisanoHelen was a very independent person who loved to travel and enjoyed reading. She was also very involved in politics. She worked as a bookkeeper for the former Atlas Chain Company in Providence, for many years, before retiring. Helen is survived by her three sisters, Mafalda Ruggieri, of Cranston, Julia Buonomano, of Warwick, and Josephine Gadouas, of Providence; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great- great nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Pasquale "Pat" Pisano and Romeo Pisano.Her funeral with visitation will be held on Monday, at 10:00 am - 11:00 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited. Burial will be private in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
