Helen R. (Turgeon) Veigas, 78, passed away July 12, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Anthony Veigas; daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Bossonneault) Turgeon; mother of Anthony M. Veigas, Jean M. Gesualdi and her husband Joseph, and Phyllis A. Iacona and her husband John; grandmother of Gianna P. Kandalaft and her husband John, and John R. Iacona; great-grandmother of Hannah and Isobel Kandalaft.
Helen enjoyed shopping, going out to lunch and spending time with her daughter, granddaughter and great-granddaughters. She loved to travel and go dancing with her husband.
Visitation will be held Friday 5-7 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept.142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
