Hilda De La Zerda

Born in Santa Cruz - Bolivia, she was the daughter of the late Ricardo Chavez and Delfina Ayala.

She was the beloved mother of Vivian De La Zerda, Kelly De La Zerda, Eliana De La Zerda and Ronald De La Zerda, cherished grandmother of Samantha and Stephanie and great grandmother of Luciana and Frankie-Victor. She was also the sister of Jovito Chavez, the late Aquiles Chavez, and Ricardo Chavez.

She was a wonderful human being of enviable moral stature. Defiantly candid, humorously clever, and giving. She had admirable strength and inmense love and sacrifice for her family. The colorful and intense hues of her presence were undoubtedly a reflexion of her beautiful spirit. She leaves an indelible impression on the hearts of those who knew her.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence.

Family requests that masks be worn at funeral home and at church.

Private cremation will follow
