Hope Ann Henry

Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Frank J. and Alice (McCarty) Lennon.

Hope graduated from the St. Xavier Academy in 1946 and the University of RI in 1950.

She was a former teacher in Pawtucket and a receptionist and registrar at the Lincoln School in Providence.

She was a member of the St Augustine's Rosary, Altar Society, and Mass Lector and volunteered at St. Mary's Home for Children and the North Providence Library.

She was the mother of William A. Henry Jr., Frank J. "Bud" Henry, Douglas J. Henry, David K. Henry, and Michael A. Henry, and the late Robert "Buck" Henry; grandmother of 5; great-grandmother of 3; great-great-grandmother of 1; and sister of the late Claire L. McHale, Elizabeth L. Johnson, and Frank J. Lennon Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence. Burial will be private.
