

Cranston: McGrath, Hope R. (Boyle), 92, of Bateman Avenue, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Alpine Nursing Home in Coventry. She was the wife of the lateJames F. McGrath for 64 years.Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arthur E. and Olga (Oberg) Boyle and lived in Cranston for many years.She graduated from Classical High School in 1939 and attended Rhode Island School of Design. She worked for 30 years in the accounting departments for Horton-Noyes Company in Providence, Darrell Prutzman Associates and Norton Supply Company, retiring in 1990.She leaves her two sons, Gerald J. McGrath and his wife Peggy of Warwick and William A. McGrath of Cranston; 4 grandchildren and 4 great gradnchildren.She was the sister of John F. Boyle and the late Madeline De Blois, Arthur O. Boyle, William H. Boyle, Evelyn Foster, Russell J. Boyle, Colonel Edmund F. Boyle, and Major General Richard D. Boyle.Funeral will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 9:30 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Route 117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am St. Mark Church, Garden Court, Cranston. Visiting hours, Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 4-8 pm.
