

Jacqueline A. (Tetreault) Patrone, 97, of Providence, passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Ettore Patrone, with whom she shared many years of love and cherished memories.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Evelyn (Boucher) Tetreault.
Jacqueline devoted many years of service to the Providence School Department, where she worked in the school lunch program. Her warm and caring nature touched the lives of countless students and colleagues throughout her career.
She found great joy in life's simple pleasures. Jacqueline loved flowers and took tremendous pride in tending her beautiful garden. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, spending time at the beach, and cheering on her beloved New England Patriots. Above all else, she treasured her family. Her greatest happiness came from gathering with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will be forever cherished.
She leaves her loving children, James E. Patrone, Helene R. Tavarozzi and her husband, Edward Tavarozzi, Sr. (Ret. PFD), and Lisa Patrone-D'Amelio. She was the cherished grandmother of Edward F. Tavarozzi, Jr. and his wife, Maria, and Michael A. Tavarozzi, Sr. and his wife, Marnie. Jacqueline was the proud and devoted great-grandmother of Mia, Madison, Michael, Jr., Grace, and Ella. She was predeceased by her sister, Irene Lefebvre, and her husband, Roland.
Her family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and staff of HopeHealth for the compassionate care and support provided to Jacqueline and her family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 239 Regent Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private.

Above all, Jacqueline will be remembered for the love she so freely gave to her family. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unconditional love that will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know and love her.
