James M. Bosco, Sr

Warwick: Bosco, James M. Sr., 64, of Narragansett Parkway, died Thursday at Eleanor Slater Hospital in Cranston. He was the husband of Anna Marie (Palazzo) Bosco for 42 years.Born in Providence, he was the son of Rose (Piccirilli) Bosco of Providence and the late John V. Bosco, Sr.Mr. Bosco served in the R. I. National Guard from 1961 to 1967. He was the owner of Ann Marie's Deli, ETC., in Warwick from 1986 to 1994. He later worked in Food Services at GTECH in West Greenwich from 1994 to 2004.He was a member and also taught Boating Safety for the Greenwich Bay Power Squadron, and also at DEM.He was an avid sailor and enjoyed golfing and skiing.Besides his wife and mother, he leaves a son, James M. Bosco,Jr., West Warwick, two daughters, Tracy E. Angell of Coventry and Kathleen A. Bosco of Roswell, GA, a brother, John V. Bosco, Jr. of New Hampshire, a sister, Marianne Rufo of North Providence, 4 grandchildren, Zachary Bosco, Sarah Angell, Nicole and Alex Dibari.His funeral will be on Monday at 8:45am from the Russell J. Boyle&Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am in St. Peter Church, Fair St. Warwick. Visiting hours, Sunday,3-7pm.
