James Albert Coccia

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late James V. and Filomena (DelFarno) Coccia.

Jimmy worked for the family owned, C&D Autobody. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was the father of James A. Coccia, Jr., Lisa M. Villella and her husband Michael and Jennifer L. Hartley and her companion Frederick Roy and grandfather of Sara DiPrete, Emily DiPrete, Michael Neri and the late Dean Neri and great grandfather pf Gabriella and Nevaeh. He was also the brother of the late Joseph P. “Sonny” Coccia, Sr., Mary Bianco and Domenic S. Coccia.

VISITATION THURSDAY, October 30, 2025 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM. His funeral will be held Friday, October 31, 2025 at 9:30 AM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:30 AM.

Burial with Military Honors will follow in the R.I. Veteran Cemetery.
