James Joseph Flynn

James J. Flynn "Nitty", 56, of North Providence, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of Ann P. (Hogg) Flynn, of Smithfield and the late James M. Flynn. He worked as a stagehand in the Actors Labor Union, Local Union 23. Besides his mother, he leaves his siblings Kevin Flynn, of Del Ray Beach, FL, Tom Flynn, of North Smithfield, and Marianne Hawkins, of Greenville; 4 nephews, John and Christopher Hawkins, Kevin Jr. and Jonathan Flynn; and a niece, Kayla Flynn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 11:30 am, in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 901 Atwells Avenue, Providence, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited. Burial will be private and visiting hours will be respectfully omitted.
