

Kane, James F. age 82, of Buttonwoods Ave, passed away on April 13th at Sunnyview Nursing Home.He was the beloved husband of Mary E. (O'Connell) Kane. Born in Worcester, MA, he was a son of the late John V. and Nellie I. (Parker) Kane.Before retirement, he spent his career in the men's clothing business, first with Howard Clothes in Providence and then as owner of Dino's Men's Wear also in Providence. He was also a founding owner of the Red Vest Inn in Narragansett. An avid golfer, he had been a member of the Warwick Country Club and the Fall River Country Club. Mr. Kane served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theatre.Besides his wife of 56 years, he leaves a brother, John V, Kane of Rehoboth. He was the brother of the late Claire Gagnon and Shirley Gaudet. His funeral with visitation will be held on FRIDAY at 8:30 AM from the RUSSELL J. BOYLE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick, with a Mass of Chrisian Burial at 10:00 AM in Sts. Rose and Clement Church, Long Street, Warwick.
