East Providence- Leddy, James R., 37, of Garden Drive, died Sunday at RI Hospital. Born in Providence, he was a son of Gerald A. Leddy (Dep.State Fire Marshall, ret.) and Patricia A. (Waryas) Leddy and stepson of Judith (Gallagher) Leddy.Father of Michael A. Thompson, brother of Michael F. Leddy and Christine A. Champigny, grandson of Josephine Waryas and step-brother of Christopher Gallagher. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.James was a retail salesman for Salvation Army Stores, Job Lot and Benny's Home and Auto Stores.His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9am from the Russell J. Boyle&Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am in St. Patrick Church, Smith St., Providence. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visiting hours, Wednesday 5-8pm.
