James E. Pallister passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Ann (Mitchell) Pallister. He was the beloved husband of Mary Jane (Coleman) Pallister, father of Brian J. Pallister of Warwick, and Kevin (Kathryn) Pallister of Harrisonburg, VA. He was the loving grandfather of Lily Pallister. James was a CYO basketball coach for Saint Peters in Warwick for many years. He was a long-time employee at AAA in Providence. Calling hours will be held at the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117) Warwick on Monday from 4 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org. Burial will be private.
