Born in Warwick, RI, James was the son of the late Christopher W. and Annie D. (Mosher) Wade.
James served his country proudly as a soldier in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a Steam Fitter for many years before his retirement
Besides his wife of 35 years, he is survived by his stepdaughters, Monna Reid, Janet Kurucz, and Tracy Paolilli, a brother, Thomas Wade, seven grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. He was the stepfather of the late Robert Kurucz and brother of the late Joan Charron and Christopher Wade.
Funeral and burial were private.
