Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Pearl (Weltz) Block.
Mrs. Baker, a teacher’s aide for many years before retiring, was known for her youthful personality. She was a member of the American coaster enthusiast club and a Trekkie. She loved riding motorcycles and was willing to get on the back of just about anyone’s bike.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Baker and her fiancé Lee Abranvitz; two sons, Louis and Earl Baker; five grandchildren, Alan, Samantha, Ryan, Jennifer, and Michael Baker; her brother Kenneth Block and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside burial will take place Friday, August 1, 2025 at 11:00 am in Temple Emeth Memorial Park Cemetery in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.
