Jeanette Caruso Lombardo

She was the daughter of the late Matteo “James” and Margaret (Cardella) Caruso; wife of the late William F. Lombardo Sr.; mother of William F. Lombardo Jr. and wife Sharon, Carol R. Keegan, and Claire M. Carlino and husband Vincent; sister of Catherine R. Caruso and the late Harold A. Caruso.; grandmother of 6 and 1 great-granddaughter.

Jeanette was a resident of The Village at Waterman Lake for the past 2 years and a communicant of St. Philip Church in Greenville. She was a member and on the advisory board of the Salvatore Mancini Resource & Activities Center. As an avid tennis watcher, she attended live games and induction ceremonies at the Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI.

Visitation will be held Friday, 5-7 p.m. with a funeral on Saturday at 8:15 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, followed by burial in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvatore Mancini Resource & Activities Center, 2 Atlantic Boulevard, North Providence, RI 02911.
