Jennie C. DiStefano

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Enrico and Lucia (Corona) Bruno; beloved wife of the late Ralph D. DiStefano; devoted mother of Donna Austin and her husband Dr. Victor Austin MD, Geraldine Parente and her husband Anthony, Carol O’Day and her husband Kevin, and Ralph DiStefano and his wife Tracy; cherished grandmother of Christopher, Tara, Matthew, Jessica, Thomas, Daniel, Trinity, Domenic and Andreanna; great-grandmother of Evelyn and Everett; sister of Albert and Harry Bruno, Angie Simeone, and the late James Bruno, Lavinia DiStefano and Lena Spino.

Jennie was a telephone operator for AT&T and the Rhode Island Medical Bureau for many years. She was also a communicant of St. Michael Church in Georgiaville. She will be remembered for her kindness and smiling face, her great sense of humor and her love and devotion to her family.

Visitation and funeral services will be private with burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. A Memorial Mass will be scheduled at a later date.
