She was the wife of the late Antonio “Tony” Palmisciano; daughter of the late Antonio and Anna Maria (Salvo) Ricci; mother of Nancy A. Palmisciano, Esq.; grandmother of Cristina M. and Ana L. Palmisciano; and her dog, Richey, who is waiting for nana to come home.
Mrs. Palmisciano was a 1940 graduate of Emmanuel College, Boston, MA and attended Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, PA. Mrs. Palmisciano was also the organist at St. Ann Church in Providence for 25 years, playing her first Pontifical Mass at 13 for the Bishop of the Diocese.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Monday, 9-10 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, 55 Elmhurst Avenue, Providence. Graveside burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
