Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Guiseppe and Carmela (Antignano) Balasco; wife of the late Alfred N. Russo; mother of Kenneth L. Russo and wife Cheryl; grandmother of Maegan; sister of the late Anna Pelleccione, Clara Martinelli, Vincenza Benjamin, Margaret, Anthony, Armand, Allie, Joseph and William Balasco.
Jennie had worked as a seamstress for the Pawtucket Dress Co. before retiring.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
