Joan A. Silva Curran

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Anna (Waryas) Silva.

Joan was an office manager for the former Providence Visitor, currently known as the Rhode Island Catholic.

She was the beloved mother of Deborah A. Dunham and her husband David J. Dunham and Donna H. Curran with whom she resided; grandmother of Matthew R. Dunham; sister of John R. Silva; sister-in-law of Thomas F. Farrell and Elizabeth A. Clarkin.

Visitation will be held FRIDAY, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral MONDAY at 9 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, Eaton Street, Providence, followed by a graveside burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
