John F. Barcelos

John F. Barcelos, 64, of Krzak Road, North Kingstown, passed away unexpectedly on February 1, 2019 in Kent County Hospital. He was the husband of 43 years to Debra A. (Tella) Barcelos.

Born in Terceira, Azores, Portugal, he was the son of the late Joao Barcelos and Guilermina Lourenco.

John was regarded as a meticulous, precious metals polisher in the jewelry industry for many years, having worked just the week before his sudden illness and passing.

He was the father of John N. and Elicia Barcelos and Gina and Michael Iacono.

John was also the grandfather of Michael Jr, Nicholas, John, Jr. and Jeremy. He was the brother of Jose and Norbeto Barcelos, Maria Amaro and Fatima Vieira.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Following Mass, the family invites you to join them for a Celebration of John’s Life at Lancellotta’s Restaurant, 1113 Charles Street, North Providence.
