John R. Benjamin, Jr., 61, a lifelong resident of Cranston passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, February 9, 2025. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John and Angela (Pazienza) Benjamin.
John was a Master Electrician for the Local 99 for many years before retiring. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed his Harley Davidson.
He was the loving father of John R. Benjamin, III, Joseph M. Benjamin and Jason Lyons and grandfather of 2. He was also the brother of Michael Benjamin, Lisa DeCesare and Michelle Cinquegrano and former of husband of Cheryl (Gonsalves) Benjamin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Inurnment to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
