North Kingstown: Gleason, John H. "Jack", 85, of Hancock Dr.; and was resident of Bonnet Shores for 50 years, passed away on Wednesday, at Riverview Health Care Community in Coventry. He was the husband of Mildred M. (Morrissey) Gleason for 42 years.Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John T. and Esther (Bolster) Gleason.Jack was Director of Security for the Oliver Stedman Government Center in Wakefield for 20 years. He was a member of Local Council 94 and was a World War II Navy veteran.Besides his wife he leaves his daughter Dayle Cahoon of North Kingstown, three grandchildren, Liam, Aidan and Briley Cahoon. He was the brother of the late Richard N. Gleason.His funeral will be held on Monday at 9:45 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am in St. Francis de Sales Church, School St., North Kingstown. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours, Sunday 4-6 pm.
