Born in Providence he was the son of the late John J. and Mary ( Meehan ) Lynch.
Mr. Lynch was a truck driver for the former McClean Trucking for many years, after their closing he would drive for Preston Trucking.
John was a member of the Teamsters local 251.
Besides his wife he is survived by his son John W. Lynch and his wife Tami of Warwick, his step grandchild, Halee J. Peloso, and his two grandchildren, Michaela E. Lynch and Karlie N. Lynch all of Warwick.
Mr. Lynch was father of the late Kelli J. Lynch.
Calling hours will be Monday October 5, 2020 from 9:00-11:00 am with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. Burial, with military honors will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Covid-19 guidelines will be in effect.
