John R. Oliver, 85, of Flanders Street, Johnston passed away June 10, 2020 peacefully at home. He was the husband of Anna (Franco) Oliver.

Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Manuel and Isabell (Cabral) Oliver.

John was proprietor of J & P Carpet for many years before retiring. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran.

He was the father of Anne Marie Day and the late Paul Oliver; grandfather of 5 and great grandfather of 2. He was also the brother of Irene Brown and the late Manuel Oliver, Virginia Iaciofano and Connie Kowalczyk.

Committal services will be Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Guests are ask to gather outside the main gate at 10:45AM to form a procession.
