John P. Paesano

He was the beloved husband of Loretta A. (Casinelli) Paesano and son of the late Giovanni and Concetta (Comella) Paesano. John was the most loving, kind and generous father of Marie J. Quinn, John C. Paesano and his wife Margherita, and Eric J. Paesano. He also leaves his beautiful grandchildren. He was "papa" to Shaelyn, Lauren, Juliana, John and late infant granddaughter, Angela. He was the brother of Anna LaTerra Bellina and her husband Sal, Victoria Ricci, and Al Paesano and his wife Beverly. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

John was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was employed by the M.A. Gammino Construction Co. in the heavy equipment electric shop. Afterwards, he was the owner and operator of B&B Auto Electric along with his late partner Duane Barnes. He also worked at N.E.I.T. part-time. He was a member of the Italian-American War Veterans during which he served as State Quartermaster and National Quartermaster. He was also a member of the Sons of Italy.

Visitation will be held Thursday, 4-8 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Maria Goretti Church, 155 Power Road, Pawtucket. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to WoundedWarriorProject.org or 4899 Belford Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
