

John Paliotta, 91, of Princess Avenue, Cranston and patriarch of the Paliotta family, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family early morning on April 4, 2011 with a beautiful sunrise and the early signs of spring outside his window. He was the beloved husband of the late Julia C. (DeSimone) Paliotta.
Born in Monticelli (Fr), Italy, he was the son of the late Giustino and Maria-Theresa (Guglielmo) Paliotta.
John successfully owned and operated Specialty Soldering for many years and was instrumental in changing the manufacturing of the Bangle Bracelet.
A proud Italian-American, he was a master gardener as well as an avid woodsman including hunting, fishing, raising beagles for hunting and proficient in the art of mushrooming. He was also a WW II Army Veteran.
He was the adored father of Maria Paliotta-Vigh, Georgianna Marrone and Adele Napolitano; grandfather of Kim Mastrati, Donald Napolitano and Keri-Lynn Marrone; great grandfather of Steven and our beloved Ashley and brother of the late Mario, Vincenzo and Adelfina.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITATION FRIDAY 5-8 pm.
