

He was a son of the late James F. and Helen B. (Stanis) Reynolds. Jack was a graduate of St. Edward's School, Providence and La Salle Academy. Jack retired after 25 years as a gardener, taking care of the plants in the Roger Williams Park greenhouses and Botanical Center. Jack lived a full life despite a lifelong affliction with Friedrich's Ataxia, taking care of his many gardens up until two weeks ago.
He was the brother of Peggy and her husband Ed Parant of Lincoln; James of Stuart; Judith and her husband Steven Jenkins of Foster; Jane and her husband Mike Gazo of Stuart; Jean and her husband Chuck Spalt of Stuart; Jack's twin Susan and her husband Phil Hauser of Foster; Richard and his wife Diva of Lincoln; Mary and her husband Christian Alunno of Hobe Sound; and David and his wife Doreen of Lincoln; as well as eleven nieces and nephews.
Visitation Monday 4-7 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friedrich’s Ataxia Research Alliance, FARA, 533 W. Uwchlan Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335.
