Jonathan J. "Jack" Wilkes, 68, of Fox Ridge Crescent, died Saturday at Kent County Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Jonathan J. and Barbara (O'Rourke) Wilkes. Mr. Wilkes graduated from Providence College in 1968. He then worked as a Parole Officer for the Rhode Island Department of Social and Rehabilitative Services for 30 years before retiring. Jack was an active member of the Wethersfield Common Condominium Association, and was an avid softball coach involved in sports in the Warwick community.He leaves two daughters, Erin L. Wilkes, and Stephanie A. Benson and her husband Daniel, a sister Jane A. Williams and her husband Michael, and his beloved dog "Princess"His funeral will be held on Thursday, December 6, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 596 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick.
