I had the pleasure of knowing JJ when he resided at Douglas Manor Apts. He was the kindest most thoughtful gentleman. There wasn't a day that went by they he didn't talk or tell a story about his family. His family was his most cherished possession next to the tinest Red Sox puzzle they gave him.

He will be greatly missed but he will never be forgotten. I hope his smile stays with his family and I'm sure he is already volunteering in Heaven.

Joe Celona was a great man. I was very fortunate to be in Troop 5 under his leadership so many years ago. It was one of the pleasures of my life and I'll never forget how patient Joe was with me and the rest of my hooligan friends! I will always treasure the times I had with Joe and his son Paul. He will be sorely missed but I will always remember him with love and gratitude. Thanks Joe for all you did for us.

My wife Karen and I extend our deepest sympathies to Paul and his entire family on Joe's passing. I had the privilege of being a Boy Scout in Joe's troop. (Good old Troop 5 North Providence) Not only was he an excellent Scoutmaster but also a great person. A great example of a leader leading leaders. The Celona family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Great guy who I had the pleasure of meeting at a young age as a scout. May he rest in eternal peace.

I worked with Joe back in the 90's at GTECH and he was one of the nicest, hard working guys you would ever meet. My sincerest condolences to his friends and family.
